Why to lose weight?

Dear Friend,

Many people think that because they're not currently in the hospital or not taking a day off due to sickness, they are "well". But wellness is much more than simply the opposite of being sick; it's a feeling of total health in all areas. Wellness means having the energy to do the things you want to do. It means waking up feeling great, without having to pop medications to start your day. It means playing with your kids and not ending up out of breath. And it means maintaining a healthy weight.
Every one of us has our own reason to lose weight, but it is worthwhile to know why we really need to do so..
